About NaNoWriMo
NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, is a self-challenge to write 50,000 new words during the month of November, which is approximately 1,667 words each day on average.
About the Columbus House of Scribes Participation
From 2018-2020, and again starting in 2022, the Columbus House of Scribes has hosted unofficial write-ins for anyone who is participating in the challenge, as well as for anyone else who wants a time and place to quietly write. In 2020, this was done virtually through Discord, a free service.
In 2022, we will resume hosting unofficial write-ins every Sunday in November using Discord.
